Seriously, how hard is it to do a peace sign? Evidently, I failed.
This is the Super Sailor Chibi Moon costume I made and wore to GOMA's cosplay event held on Australia.
This costume was completely hand-stitched. It's painful. I really don't suggest it!
I plan on re-making this costume for the Supanova April event once I get my sewing machine up and running, but here's a run down on the current state of the costume:
Materials for Costume:
Poly cotton for the yellow and pink bits
Cotton drill for top bit of skirt
Lots of stuffing! It's amazing how much the hip and arm rolls can hold!
Light pink organza for back bow and arm sleeves
Constructed from two Luka wigs (long pink wigs) that had come with a ponytail clip each. There was a lot of cutting and wefting involved! Definitely the biggest wig project I've had to date--but it still needs some improvements.
Odangos - Have a styrofoam base. They make me look so tall!
Hair feathers - cut out from a plastic sheet thing...
Hair pins base - 3 styrofoam balls, will probably remake with pearls instead since the balls were too large.
